BSU Logo      So ex-BSU 'Bronco' Daryn is now a Green Bay "Packer", and a part of a legendary football Powerhouse!  Daryn's college football days demonstrated that he, himself is a powerhouse, and the 'WAC powerhouse' Boise State University brought him plenty of national attention, with their long winning record, his own 52 consecutive starts, 5 school weightlifting records, and his habit of overpowering higher ranked opponents.   Even when in college, Internet Searches revealed lots of great 'press' and high expectations because of his strength, speed, and hitting power.

Following college and his performances at the Senior Bowl, the NFL Combine, and his BSU "Pro Day", Daryn's web hits were as plentiful and strong as his much touted 'athleticism'.  Many 'bloggers' expectation of a high second round Draft were realized Saturday when Daryn was taken at
47th as only the 3rd OT in the 2006 Draft and the highest ever from his native Alaska.   After all, he shut out highly-touted Boston College defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka in the MPC Computers Bowl and then again at the Senior Bowl - which  D'Brickashaw Ferguson who went as the 4th Pick couldn't do.

Future 'Packer' opponents that Daryn pushes around in the NFL will surely experience
the
"Colledge Football Daze".   -  Ike Sweesy, BSU & "Packer" Fan
